Golf is a demanding sport. Here at The Golf Academy, we spend a majority of our time talking about the mental side of golf, a side that I think people forget about too often. Today, however, I want to talk about the physical aspect of golf, specifically, how to keep your body well energized during your round.
As promised I’ve been hard at work these past couple weeks with both our book and some Golf Academy Merchandise which is why I’m coming to you today!
Over the past few months I’ve been in contact with a friend of mine who also happens to be a new clothing designer. Thanks to his hospitality and willingness to help educate me I eventually started to design things for The Golf Academy and now I finally have something to show to you guys!
It’s inevitable. Eventually, we all end up in the sand. But how you react once you do end up in the trap can make or break your hole and, if it doesn’t go quite as planned, your round. That’s why today we’re going to talk about how to get out of the sand consistently and how you should approach escaping the sand trap mentally.
Back in 1457, the creators of golf back in Scotland never put much thought into a question that’s almost impossible to avoid now when you step onto the course. Should you walk or should you ride a golf cart? Are these really the only two options available? And can you gain a small advantage based on whether you take a cart or carry your bag?
It’s hard to believe we’ve made it into August already! It seems like just yesterday we were talking about the first round of the year and since then things around The Golf Academy have only picked up. Now some of you have been here since the beginning of things last winter and I’ll apologize because it has been a while since I’ve been publicly active here but I assure you, I have been busy. It’s been a great summer and for those of you that are still around I promise you the wait will be worth it! I have a great plan for the future of The Golf Academy, and it’s that vision that I want to chat about with you today.
